A letter to humanity from an etheric pulpit.

Hello All,

Just to be clear - it is not that I have said do not "follow your heart" nor to ignore it, but rather to EXPAND beyond your small self. The time for personal work, exclusively, is over. The damage to the environment, the hoarding of resources, the brutality of one to the other is a failure of all systems, including those of our own making. They cannot be allowed to continue. They simply cannot.

In the eighteen-hundreds upper class women in America and England were given the Sunday Schools because they were discouraged from working. Unschooled in theology they began to sentimentalize the "fire and brimstone" of the traditional clergy. The moral ground began to shift from black and white to all shades of grey - and I'm not sure that we're better off for it, collectively.

That said, the theology they studied was flawed due to
poor and missed translation - and focused editing. Again, the failure to investigate the truth has led to more lies, deception and ignorance.

One of the tragedies of the New Age is the focus on "me." One of it's strengths is the idea of unity. But the failure of human religion that has been sentimentalized is its inability to recognize the "other", whether furred, finned, foe or friend. Instead of adhering to a Golden Rule, the rule itself has tarnished and become anthropocentric. One only has to view the world's situation and the lives upon it to see this failure in totality.

I write, not to say:"... do not focus upon your self," but rather to include all of LIFE in your considerations. I encourage you to weigh in the consequences of failures to incorporate the totality of LIFE in all your decisions. I ask you to include in your choice for self love, the love of all life upon this planet - not in theory, or sentimental musings, but in the concrete actions that will save all of us, together.

Money is a great evil - for no beings but humans have access to it, and most humans have little to no access - whatever the illusion they believe. To have money be the motivation for your choices naturally excludes those without any – including furred, finned, feathered, and flora. To let money be the deciding factor in choosing how you pander your services, and to whom, reduces you to a commodity.

This is a time for soul greatness, for big action, for the courage to reach beyond our comfort zones, and cease to let others fight "the good fight" and join it ourselves.

Many of us have been shaken by the economy, still this is no excuse. Most of us hold deep wounds from being misunderstood, abused, or neglected, this is no excuse either to focus solely upon the small self, expecting all else to wait for another time.

The task before us, as humanity is to realize that all life upon this planet is suffering. All life is in pain. In some ways this is "normal."

But this does not have to be. By realizing that my small pain is THE PAIN, we can, if we are brave, step upon it and throw our hearts out into the universe, into the great LOVE of LIFE itself and find the courage to act.

I plead with you, not to get swallowed up in the fear of the small mind, but to act as if you are Creation, Itself - for indeed you are.

I am impatient, for I see the beauty in each one of you, but I also see the dog, frozen on its doorstep because its steward did not have the sense to let it into the warmth of their home last night.

I believe that you too have the ability to move past your small self, and into the Galactic Wisdom that is flooding this planet, at this time, to assist with our awakening.

Do we really need more corporate coaches? Do we really need to create more nonprofits to reproduce what is already begun? Do we really, need to pretend that these are solutions - when there is ample evidence that they are not?  Without a major restructuring of our fundamental systems: economic, educational, governmental, theological and societal, we are doomed to repeat the failures of the past, no matter how good our intentions are - for the themelios – the foundation upon which they are built is flawed.

Or is it time to reach out to your neighbors, even if you don't know them. Is it time to begin the work of reinventing ourselves from the soul up? Is it time to reinvestigate your priorities, and set higher markers for them?

I believe it is. I believe that LIFE on this planet needs protection. I cannot do this by myself. The tens of thousands of valiant souls acting currently are not enough.

What has come before, is NOT the way of the future. Those choices of the past 256,000 year cycle are OVER. We do not need a Divine Feminine (whatever that is) to come and save us, nor do we need to reinvent a more tolerate and loving Divine Masculine – for both represent duality that is now obsolete. Nor are Beings from Space are going to clean up our mess.

This time is for something new, but made from the impulse of holy work. It calls for different actions, that we can only discover, collectively. Obviously the first priority is to save the Elementals - the sacred Great Beings of Earth: the Water, the Air, the Fire, and the Earth, and the Ether of our Interconnection. Without the health and vitality of these Elementals, all life suffers. Without the honoring of their Beings, we risk having them turn upon us. We risk extinction itself.

It will be a long time before the story of this new cycle of 256,000 years is written. But we can imagine what we'd like it to say. I for one want to believe that during this time of great Change at the beginning of an epoch, we insisted that there is a better way. We took to the streets to the town halls, to the schools and churches, and to our community and we chose to act for all of Life, The somehow, in this new story we dared to dream as if all Life were Sacred, and acted accordingly.

This is the basis of my radio show (Please Call Me By My True Names on Voice America), to help dream this new story - not from sentimental illusion, but from the facts as they are - the good and the bad.

I am a preacher at heart, and I am more like those preachers of old. I do not know from which they spoke, but I know that I speak from a fierce love, a burning passion, and an absolute insistence that we must accept the mantle of responsibility for our actions, and become once again the stewards of the sacred Garden with which we were entrusted.

I call from a place of brokenness and wholeness together, from impatience and mercy, from ineptitude and from brilliance. In short, I am a human being whose life and that of those I love (you) are threatened by the fearful acts of the small mind. And so I call out into the Ether, "Be Not Afraid, For I AM with you." As long as I draw breath I will encourage, entreat, badger and love you into excellence. Mea culpa.

So please, have the courage let your heart break, and break some more. Fall into the truth of your soul, that there is no small pain, there is only THE PAIN - and there is no small love, for LOVE is Creation, Itself. Do something to save yourselves, some glorious risk for your Creations. Some wildly unstoppable act of COURAGE - the actions of BIG HEART. Dare to claim your brilliance.

I ask, knowing that you are indeed capable.

I shall leave you with this:

“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.”
― Louise Erdrich, The Painted Drum LP

I love You.
