Tell the Partnership Learning Community a little bit about yourself - what are your interests? What community activities or organizations are you involved in? Hi everyone! My name is Klaine and I'm an almost-18-year-old beginning my college education in the fall after testing out of high school when I was 16. My mission is to redefine education for youth and empower them to be more pro-active about their education and live true to their self. I'm passionate about equity for everyone and enabling access to the same opportunities and having the same doors open to all people. It hurts me to think of all the talents and human contributions lost because not all children may have the same doors open for them. Currently, I am working closely with Brie Mathers as new Director of Leadership & Development at Love the Skin You're In, an organization that strives to inspire positive body image and media literacy. In addition I am also working with Brie on a self-expression journal for young women. For the summer I am working as an intern at ROI DNA in San Francisco and at a shop that sells delicious sandwiches! I ride my folding bike around the city for transportation, and feel great about it! I like running, reading and pastries. I am in love with meeting new people and learning and exchanging ideas and insights.
